1.       How do I know if my entry has been received?

§  Check the ‘see who has entered’ post on the Home page, which lists all entries received.

§  Note - once you submit your online entry you will receive an automated email, confirming receipt. (Don’t forget to complete the captcha, if asked, before pressing submit)

 

2.       How is the Group Draw made?

§  Players are first ranked in accordance to their total ranking points for the event.

§  In the case of the season’s first tournament, a player’s total ranking points for the event across all tournaments in the previous season is used; for all other tournaments, their current total for the season is used.

§  Seedings are then are allocated on the basis of a player’s ranking, as follows:

1	1
2	2
3 - 4	=3
5 - 8	=5
9 - 16	=9
17 - 32	=17

 

§  Players are then allocated to groups using the ‘snake’ system, with players having the same seeding being selected randomly.

§  Finally, adjustments are then made in order to avoid, where possible, the same two players playing in the same groups in two different events, by swapping one of the players with another of the same seeding.
